Tuesday August 16th Britt gave a 3 hour seminar at the Miami Association of Realtors (MAR) Gables Board. This was formerly the Coral Gables Board of Realtors, later known as the Miami Association of Realtors.
The boards all merged and it is not the Miami Association of Realtors with 25,000 members. My dad (Kenneth D.) is a two time past president of the former Miami Board of Realtors. MAR sent an email to 15,000, and 36 attended.
The seminar was about the basics on appraising, with the comparable sales, income and cost approaches discussed, new UAD and HVCC regulations, Dodd-Frank Act, FannieMae guidelines, and discussion on real estate tax appeals.
